1. Reach a decision: dùng để chỉ việc đạt đến/chạm đến một quyết định sau một khoảng thời gian cân đo, đong đếm kỹ lưỡng.

Ví dụ: The government has finally reached a decision on social distancing policy.

1. Make time: to make certain you have some time when you are not busy in order to do something you think you should do. (có thời gian rảnh rỗi để làm gì).

Ví dụ: Our hectic modern lifestyle does not always allow us to make time for the important things in life, such as friends and family.

4. Make progress: to achieve something (tiến bộ/ đạt được một điều gì đó).

Ví dụ: “ I feel that we’re making slow progress with this project.”

5. Make a/ the decision: to give a choice of things, especially after thinking carefully about several possibilities (đưa ra một quyết định, đặc biệt sau khi đã suy nghĩ kĩ về những khả năng có thể xảy ra).

6. Make a suggestion: to give your opinion about something (đưa ra ý kiến/ đề nghị của bạn về việc nào đó).

Ví dụ: “I’d like to make a suggestion. Perhaps we could start the presentation with some visual material?”

7. Make use of sth: to use something that is available (tận dụng cái gì đó).

Ví dụ: “ Please make use of the Internet for your research but make sure you include the website address in your bibliography.”

8. Make a mistake: to do something badly (làm sai điều gì đó).
